Founded by a tradesman who thought things could be done more honestly.
BKA is Bram Koomen's company. Since 2023 he has been helping homeowners between Purmerend and Enkhuizen really save on their energy bills: air conditioning, heat pumps, boilers and underfloor heating, with someone who picks up when you call.

Why we started
Too many people get talked into something that doesn't deliver what was promised.
A nice saving on paper, and a higher bill at the end of the year anyway. A system that fails on the coldest day, and nobody picking up the phone. Bram saw it happen too often, to friends and to customers. That's what BKA was founded for.
Bram was sixteen when he entered the trade at Koos Verbart Installatietechniek, an established name in the region. Not from the classroom, but the other way round: learning on the job, with his trade course alongside it, through to his installation engineer diploma. That is how you learn this work where it is really learned: in people’s homes, where it simply has to be right.
On 1 July 2023 he started his own business. First on jobs across North Holland, soon for his own customers. Today BKA focuses entirely on climate installations: air conditioning, heat pumps, boilers and underfloor heating, with a team of three installers.
What has not changed in all those years: never just installing something, but looking at what suits your home and how you live. Good equipment, honest advice, and an installation that really saves you money. The name? Bram Koomen, and the A of Aartswoud, because BK was already taken.
